This standard from India consists of the 2062 E350 standard which covers the requirements for steel, including microalloyed plates, sheets, and sections. What is IS 2062 E350A PLATES ?
Our manufacturing process is based on the standards stipulated by the Bureau of Indian Standards for high tensile and medium stainless steel. IS 2062 is the standard for structural use which we follow in order to manufacture these plates. It is a high tensile strength plate that is manufactured in quenched and tempered conditions to deliver high tensile strength, precise dimensions, corrosion resistance, ease of maintenance, oxidation and durability. These plates are manufactured to meet high tensile strength and precise dimensions. A good welding and bending plate will allow the plate to be easily made and formed to complex shapes while maintaining the industrial standards of lifting, bending, and welding jobs. The plates are light in weight, efficient in structure, and of high strength, as they are very light in weight.
Several industrial applications can be made with 2062 E350 PLATES because they are excellent in the area of machinability, formability, workability, and fabricability. Several methods can be employed to create complex designs using these materials because of their ductility and formability, and a welding action can be induced by the use of any common welding process. Arc welding, TIG, MIG, SAW, and other techniques are used to accomplish this. Using the most modern machinery and cold and hot drawing techniques, these plates are manufactured.
The plates in Grade 2062 go through a metal treatment process so they get the appropriate characteristics. These plates are processed after the hot working operation by annealing. In addition, since they are more likely to harden up, these plates are also treated with cold working procedures due to the higher work hardening rate. The result is that a structure is made more mechanically robust, which makes it more magnetic as well. During the process, it is possible to get great results by cleaning the work surface while it is being applied. However, because they are easily machined, they can be done using a typical machining procedure that needs moderate feeds, speeds, and a sufficient cut depth.
