    In addition to its many advantages, Hastelloy C276 Pipe provides a wide range of mechanical properties due to its titanium-stabilized chromium nickel molybdenum alloy. The Hastelloy C276 Seamless Pipe products manufactured by Steel India Company are highly corrosion resistant to most corrosive media. They are especially resistant to pitting and crevice corrosion. The pipes come in diameters ranging from 15 inches to 150 inches. ASTM B622 UNS N10276 pipes are used for processing organic chloride, chemical processing, and petrochemical applications.     A Hastelloy alloy is composed of chromium, nickel, and molybdenum. Hastelloy is distinguished by its addition of tungsten. Its corrosion resistance to a wide range of chemicals and corrosive environments is attributed to this composition. Moreover, the chromium and molybdenum components impart anticorrosive and antioxidant properties to the material. 

    Due to its nickel and tungsten components, the ASTM B619 N10276 Hastelloy Pipe is strong and precipitation resistant. Hastelloy C276 Seamless Pipe is a precision-engineered pipe that can be cold drawn or hot rolled. Cold-drawn pipes are seamless. Because of this, fitting the pipes to precise applications is easy.

    Hastelloy C276 is a highly corrosion resistant nickel-molybdenum-chromium superalloy with exceptional corrosion resistance in a wide range of severe environments. The seamless Hastelloy C276 pipe is a type of pipe made from this alloy that doesn’t have any seams or joints which makes it stronger and more resistant to corrosion than the welded Hastelloy C276 pipe.

    A Hastelloy C276 seamless pipe is commonly used in industries such as chemical processing, petrochemicals, and oil and gas exploration, as a result of its excellent corrosion resistance, pitting resistance, and crevice corrosion resistance.     Why USe Astm B622 Uns N10276 Pipe In Concentrated Chemical Resistance?

    ASTM B622 UNS N10276 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum wrought alloy specification. This material is resistant to wet chloride gas, chlorine dioxide solutions, and hypochlorite. Only a few alloys have these properties. The alloy is commonly known as the C276 and it is not affected by grain boundary precipitation. The material is also exceptionally resistant to oxidizing media, chlorides, acids, and most reducing media.

    These properties being expressed by one material are a perfect match for chemical processing applications because the material can withstand all the risk factors in concentrated chemical processing. The bleach plants, sour gas applications, flue gas desulfurization plants, sulfuric acid reactors, and organic chloride presses equipment all use the C276 or the ASTM B622 UNS N10276 alloy material.
