The wear-resistant steel plate is a special plate product that is used for large-area wear. At present, the commonly used wear-resistant steel plate is made of ordinary low-carbon steel or low-alloy steel with good toughness and plasticity by surfacing welding with a certain thickness of alloy wear-resistant layer with high hardness and excellent wear resistance. Additionally, alloy quenched wear-resistant steel plates and cast wear-resistant steel plates are available.

Wear and tear-resistant steels (AR) have been designed to handle tasks requiring rigorous applications under harsh conditions. Wear Resistant Steel 400, also known as ABREX 400, is manufactured with the highest quality durable steel. This makes ABREX 400 what it is: sturdy and vigorous. Market demand for ABREX 400 is high due to its easy weldability and formability, allowing it to be used in a variety of applications.

AR It is also called Wear Resistant Steel 400, NM400 ABREX, and XAR 400, and comes in different grades; its size can be customized.

A wide variety of commercial industries use NM400 steel plates because they offer excellent wear resistance and high strength, which significantly improves wear resistance in heavy mechanical parts. They are also known as wear–resistant plates. With an NM400 steel plate, the mechanical properties are three to five times higher than that of ordinary or low alloy steel. Therefore, the service life of this grade alloy reduces the cost of production. Structural steel plate is processed and manufactured according to the needs of the customer.     NM400 Stainless Steel Plate Features

    • Is poured with molten steel, cooled, and pressed into flat steel.
    • It is flat, and rectangular and can be rolled directly or cut from a wide strip of steel.
    • According to the thickness of the steel plate, thin steel plate <4 mm (the thinnest 0.2 mm), medium thick steel plate is 4~60 mm, and extra thick steel plate is 60~115 mm.
    • The steel plate is rolled into hot rolling and cold rolling.
    • The width of the sheet is 500~1500 mm; The width of the thickness is 600~3000 mm. Thin plates are classified by steel types, including ordinary steel, high-quality steel, alloy steel, spring steel, stainless steel, tool steel, heat-resistant steel, bearing steel, silicon steel, industrial pure iron sheet, etc. According to professional use, there are oil drums with the board, enamel with the board, bulletproof with the board, etc. According to the surface coating points, there are galvanized sheets, tin plates, lead plates, and plastic composite steel plates.

    Processing Technology Of NM400 Stainless Steel Plate

    Through the development of science, technology, and industry, materials have developed to be stronger, more resistant to high temperatures, high pressures, low temperatures, corrosion resistance, wear, and other physical and chemical properties. Carbon steel cannot meet all the requirements.

    Deficiency of carbon steel:

    The maximum quenching diameter of carbon steel water quenching is generally 10mm-20mm.

    For example, the strength and buckling of ordinary carbon steel Q235 steel is about 235MPa, while the strength and buckling of low alloy structural steel 16Mn is more than 360MPa. The strength and buckling of 40 steel is only 0.43, which is much lower than that of alloy steel.

    The stability of tempering is poor (3). As a result of poor tempering stability, carbon steel in quenching and tempering is quenched and tempered at a lower temperature in order to increase strength, so its toughness is low; the strength of high tempering temperatures is low, resulting in low comprehensive mechanical properties of carbon steel.

    There are no special performance requirements. It is often difficult for carbon steel to meet special performance requirements in terms of oxidation resistance, corrosion resistance, heat resistance, low-temperature resistance, wear resistance, and special electromagnetic properties.

    Applications Of NM 400 Plate

    • A combustion power plant has the following components: coal mill cylinder liner, fan impeller nest shell, dust collector inlet flue, ash duct, bucket turbine liner, separator pipe, coal crusher liner, coal hopper and crusher liner, burner, coal hopper, and funnel liner, air preheater bracket tile, separator guide vanes.
    • Coalfields: feeding chute and funnel liners, hopper bushings, fan blades, pusher floors, cyclone dust collectors, coke guide liners, ball mill liners, drill stabilizers, spiral feeder bells, ring feeders, dump truck floors.
    • Cement plant: chute liner, cyclone dust collector, separator blade and guide blade, fan blade and liner for recycle hopper, screw conveyor base plate, pipe components, frit cooling tray liner, conveyor tank liner.
    • Loading machinery: unloading mill chain plates, hopper liners, grapple blade plates, and dump truck bodies.
