Treatment with heat
An annealing temperature of 815 to 900°C can be used to toughen Grade 415 prepares, followed by cooling with heaters and air cooling. Evaluation 415 prepares can be annealed at temperatures ranging from 650 to 760°C and air-cooled.
Hardening – Evaluation 415 prepares can be hardened at 925 to 1010 °C, followed by air and oil extinguishing. In evaluation 415, oil should be used to extinguish the majority of segments. This procedure is followed to harden evaluation 410 preparations to improve their mechanical properties and hardness. It is not recommended to perform treatment at temperatures between 400 °C and 580 °C.
Fabrication of welds
Despite the fact that grade 415 prepares can be welded using all common welding techniques, pre-heating at 150 to 260°C followed by post-weld toughening is needed to prevent breaking. Mechanics
