Tronix Alloy is a leading manufacturer, supplier, and exporter of EN15 Round Bars. Our company is a leading manufacturer and exporter of EN15 Round Bars. Medium carbon steel EN15 Round Bars have a tensile strength comparable to mild steel. Tubes, studs, bolts, connecting rods, screws, and rollers can all be manufactured using EN15 Carbon Steel Bars.

The EN15 steel alloy is a very high-strength steel alloy that is hardened and tempered. A nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy, EN15 steel, also known as 817M40, offers high tensile strength, good elasticity, and wear resistance.

An actual high-strength steel alloy, EN15 round bar is tough and hardened before fabrication. It contains nickel, chromium, and molybdenum, making it a high-strength steel alloy with good elasticity and wear resistance. The EN15 round bar has decent internal and high external strength, making it extremely wear-resistant.

Nickel chromium molybdenum alloy EN15 square bar offers strength, wear resistance, and flexibility. EN15 is also suitable for a variety of high-temperature needs. It has relatively good bending strength at low temperatures, while the EN15 steel round bar offers strength, flexibility, and wear resistance.

Steels are widely used in construction and other applications because of their high tensile strength and low cost. Carbon contributes up to 2.1% of the weight of typical steel alloys. As a result of carbon, other elements, and inclusions within iron, dislocations are prevented from moving within the crystal lattices of iron atoms.

With steel, varying the amount of alloying elements, which form either as solutes or precipitates, retards the movement of dislocations that make iron so ductile and weak and controls the properties of steel, such as its hardness, flexibility, and tensile strength. Steel’s strength comes at the expense of flexibility, which iron has in abundance.

Interestingly, although steel had been produced in bloomery furnaces for thousands of years, its use has increased greatly in the centuries following the invention of blister steel production and crucible steel production in the 17th century. A new era of mass-produced steel began with the invention of the Bessemer process in the mid-19th century. Siemens-Martin was followed by Gilchrist-Thomas, which refined the quality of steel.

In the later half of the 19th century, mild steel was introduced as a major competitor, and wrought iron was largely replaced by wrought iron. Refining the process, such as the basic oxygen steelmaking process (BOS), further reduced production costs and enhanced metal quality. Today, steel is one of the most common materials in the world, with more than 1.3 billion tons produced yearly. A building, infrastructure, tool, ship, automobile, machine, appliance, or weapon contains it. Various standards organizations classify it.

    Certifications for EN15 Round Bars

Our company is ISO 9001 certified. Also, we have an IS2062 license from the Bureau of Indian Standards for steel rounds used in structural, bright bars and other engineering applications. In addition, we have BIS certification to manufacture boiler rounds.

The EN15 steel is a low alloy steel that is extremely strong and has good toughness and tensile strength. As a result, it is frequently used for applications such as gears, shafts, and axles that require a combination of high strength and good machinabilities, such as gears, shafts, and axles. The EN15 round bars are typically supplied in normalized and tempered conditions, with a diameter range between 10mm and 450mm, and they are available in a range of tolerances.

If you are looking for a manufacturer or supplier of EN15 round bars, try searching online directories or industry databases for a manufacturer or supplier. Choosing the right supplier is important for quality materials that meet your requirements.

    Forging Properties

Preheat carefully, then raise the temperature to 1000-1100°C for forging. Do not forge the steel below 850-1100°C. After forging, cool slowly, preferably in a furnace.

    Stress Relieving

When parts are heavily machined, ground, or otherwise subject to hard work, stress relieving will be beneficial before hardening. Heat carefully to 650-670°C, and soak well before cooling in the furnace or the air.

    Normalizing

    1. Nominal normalizing temperature:840-900°C.

    2. Hold the temperature for several hours.

    3. Cooling in the air.

    Annealing

Heat slowly to 840-860°C, soak well, and allow to cool with the furnace to 580°C before withdrawing.

    Density

    Density – 7840 kg/m3

    Machinability

EN15 is a very popular grade of through-hardening alloy steel, which is readily machinable in the “T” condition.

    Welding

When welding is completed, allow components to cool to 180°C before Post Weld Heat Treatment.
