We started out by manufacturing round bars at Tronixalloys.com and we have now expanded into a wide variety of steel products, including the Incoloy 825 bar, steel bars, round bars, bright bars, square bars, hex bars, flat bars, rectangular bars, black bars, threaded bars, forged bars, and rods. Throughout our company’s history, we have established a strong foundation of highly dedicated staff members who always set the right momentum so that we can be ever ready for the next level.
Throughout the company’s history, we have placed a high emphasis on ensuring customer satisfaction through the provision of superior products, highly reliable quality, and competitive pricing.
In general, nickel alloys are known for their ability to withstand extremely high temperatures, which is their primary advantage. It is well known that ASTM B425 UNS N08825 Bar Stock possesses tensile strength that is not compromised when exposed to moderately high temperatures due to its nickel content which ranges between 38% and 46%. Incoloy 825 Square bars are widely used in nuclear fuel reprocessing applications, where they are considered valuable.
A nuclear reprocessing process is one where spent nuclear fuel is removed from its spent state and chemical products like fission products and superfluous uranium are removed. It is important to remember that fission emits heat, so for processing their products to be as hot as possible, they will need alloys that can withstand extremely high temperatures, such as UNS N08825 Bright Bar. As a superalloy, 2.4858 Alloy 825 Rod exhibits resistance to thermal creep deformation.
In addition to its strength under extreme stress conditions, this alloy is also remarkably resistant to deformation under extreme stresses. As a result, this alloy can be used in both high pressure, as well as high temperature applications.
As Inconel 825 Hex Bar has a sufficient nickel content and it can withstand conditions conducive to corrosion, it is easier to use even under adverse conditions such as saltwater or chloride corrosion cracking. The mechanical properties of the Alloy 825 Flat Bar are generally good up to a temperature of 1000°F, but above this temperature, microstructural changes cause the alloy to lose its ductility and impact strength.
Due to the rapid hardening of Incoloy DIN 2.4858 Hex Bars, traditional methods of shaping and machining them are not as easy as they could be. After age hardening, Incoloy 825 Cold Finished Bars can be machined almost completely in solutionized form, with only a few finishing steps required. It is common for work hardening to plastically deform either the workpiece or the tool during subsequent passes.
825 Incoloy cold-finished steel or metal bars are bright bars made from this alloy. Due to the fact that no or very little heat is used throughout the entire process of converting hot-rolled bars (also known as black bars) into cold-finished bars (or bright steel bars), these processes are referred to as Cold Finish processes.
A nickel-iron-chromium alloy with additions of molybdenum, copper, and titanium, Incoloy 825 is made up of nickel, iron, and chromium. As a high-strength material which offers excellent corrosion resistance, it can be used in a wide range of environments, such as those which contain sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, and seawater, among others. There is also a resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking in Incoloy 825 as well.
Incoloy 825 is commonly used in chemical processing, pollution control, oil and gas production, as well as marine engineering applications. As a result, it is commonly used in heat exchangers, piping systems, and pressure vessels as well. The material’s high corrosion resistance makes it a suitable material for use in aggressive environments due to its high corrosion resistance.
As a metal alloy, Incoloy 825 can be obtained in a variety of forms, such as bars, sheets, plates, pipes, and fittings. In addition to its versatility, it can be easily fabricated, welded, and machined, which makes it an ideal material for a wide variety of applications.

Corrosion Resistance
There is no doubt that Incoloy 825 has outstanding corrosion resistance. Under reducing and oxidizing conditions, Incoloy 825 resists general corrosion, pitting and crevice corrosion, intergranular corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. In addition to sulphuric and phosphoric acids, it is also useful for flue gases containing sulfur, sour gas, oil wells, and seawater.
Fabrication
Stainless steel is most easily cold formed, but Incoloy 825 can be hot worked as well. The temperature range should be between 870 – 1180°C for hot processing, finishing between 870 – 980°C for cold processing. The alloy is more readily cold formed than stainless steel for maximum corrosion resistance.
Machinability
Machineability is reasonably good for Incoloy 825, which is classed as a ‘C’ alloy.
Welding
GMAW (mig), GTAW (tig), SMAW (manual), and SAW are the most common techniques for welding the alloy. It should be noted that the joint must be clean to prevent contamination of the weld pool during welding.
Test Certificate
Certificate of laboratory testing from a government-approved laboratory.
Certificate of Manufacturer’s Testing.
