Among the leading manufacturers, suppliers and exporters of Nickel 201 Seamless Pipe, Tronix Alloys is the one that manufactures, distributes and exports these pipes using the highest quality raw materials in the industry. Moreover, we offer these seamless nickel 201 pipes in custom sizes and shapes to our esteemed clients. In addition to its excellent corrosion resistance, this seamless nickel 201 pipe is also corrosion resistant by natural and distilled water as well. Aside from offering good service in flowing seawater, it is also capable of performing well at high velocity as well. However, a strict local attack may occur under fouling organisms or other deposits in these ASTM B 161 Nickel 201 Pipes at very low velocities or stagnant sea water. Moreover, the lower carbon content of Alloy 201 makes it quite resistant to graphitization, which reduces the possibility of embrittlement. These ASTM B 161 Pipes are suitable for service to 1230 degrees Fahrenheit.
When nickel 201 is exposed to a temperature that is longer than 315 degrees Celsius (600 degrees Fahrenheit), it will not develop graphite, provided carbonaceous materials are not in contact with it. As a consequence of this intergranular embrittlement, it is very important to eliminate machining fluids and external sources of sulphur during fabrication and subsequent service in order to prevent damage to the material. In order to be used in pressure vessels (ASME VIII Div 1) up to 1250 degrees Fahrenheit, nickel 201 has been approved.
There is no question that the 201 Nickel Hollow Pipe provides excellent service under flowing sea water, even when moving at high speed. Nevertheless, Nickel 201 Welded Pipe is highly susceptible to severe local attack when it is exposed to environments where either the water is stagnant or where the sea water has very low velocity. This can occur when conditions are conducive to the growth of biofouling organisms and other forms of corrosion on the nickel 201 ERW Pipe. The corrosion rate on 201 Alloy EFW Pipe will initially be high in hot water systems if there is a high concentration of carbon dioxide and air in the steam released by the application. However, with time, corrosion rates will decrease. Even so, it is only possible for Nickel 201 Seamless Pipe to develop a protective layer on its surface if the conditions are favorable for such development.
Nickel 201 Seamless Pipes are a material that is very popular among industrial applications due to its excellent mechanical properties and strong qualities. They are used commercially by industries due to their high temperature resistance and corrosion resistance properties. The alloys are modified versions of nickel 200 with a controlled carbon content, and they can withstand temperatures between 600 and 1400 degrees Fahrenheit. They are extensively used in various industries in various processes. Nickel alloy pipes are widely used around the world as they have excellent physical and mechanical properties due to the dual-certified chemical process. This dual-certified chemical process provides the desired characteristics and successfully forms an alloy with the desired characteristics.
This alloy is capable of withstanding the reaction forces of many acids and alkalis, but its main application lies in the electrolytic extraction of caustic soda from salt solutions for the purpose of concentrating them through electrolysis. Nickel 201 is widely used in the food processing industry because of its excellent resistance to distilled and natural water as well as its tenacious oxide film when applied. A variety of sizes and forms of this material are available, including bars, plates, sheets, strips, wires, tubes, pipes, flanges and fasteners, and welding consumables for most welding processes with the exception of oxyacetylene. As well as brazing and soldering it, the alloy also has the ability to withstand extreme heat.
The Nickel 201 Seamless Pipes are designed in accordance with international and national standards, and are offered for sale to our esteemed customers in custom lengths, shapes, sizes, and finishes according to their specifications. Known as UNS N02201, we offer these Nickel Seamless Pipes at the most competitive prices available in our market. Aside from being an authorized Dealer, we are also an official supplier of ASTM B161 Nickel 201 Seamless Pipe manufactured by a number of approved manufacturers such as Nippon Steel, Sandvik, Sanyo Special Steel, Kobe Steel, Schoeller Bleckmann, Salzgitter Mannesmann, Tubacex and many more. As opposed to their counterparts, these pipes are ferromagnetic and have a low electrical resistivity. They are a low carbon substitute for this alloy, so they are not as hard as some of their competitors due to their low carbon content. There is a very low rigidity of the pipes when they are annealed. It also has a very low toughening rate. In addition, these pipes have a very high degree of creep resistance. These pipes are extremely ductile and strong. In addition to their high creep properties at high temperatures, these pipes show a tremendous resistance to oxidation as well.
