A team of experts ensures that every single item they use is of first-class quality and offers incredible performance.
Treatment with heat
An annealing temperature of 815 to 900°C can be used to toughen Grade 415 prepares, followed by cooling with heaters and air cooling. Evaluation 415 prepares can be annealed at temperatures ranging from 650 to 760°C and air-cooled.
Hardening – Evaluation 415 prepares can be hardened at 925 to 1010 °C, followed by air and oil extinguishing. In evaluation 415, oil should be used to extinguish the majority of segments. This procedure is followed to harden evaluation 410 preparations to improve their mechanical properties and hardness. It is not recommended to perform treatment at temperatures between 400 °C and 580 °C.
Fabrication of welds
Despite the fact that grade 415 prepares can be welded using all common welding techniques, pre-heating at 150 to 260°C followed by post-weld toughening is needed to prevent breaking. For treating and welding, grade 415 welding poles are Post-solidifying is recommended. It is possible to achieve a pliable joint using grade 309 filler bars in the “as welded” condition.
Mechanics
Steel sheets of grade 415 can be effectively machined under exceptional tempered or strengthened conditions. However, grade 415 steel sheets cannot be machined if they are solidified above 30HRC. For free machining, grade 410 is the best alternative.
The Stainless Steel 415 is a martensitic grade of stainless steel that contains chromium and molybdenum as the main alloying elements as it is a martensitic grade. Due to its excellent strength, hardness, and wear resistance, it is known for its excellent performance.
As the name suggests, stainless steel 415 plates are flat sheets made of this alloy that are used in a wide range of industrial applications, including machinery parts, chemical processing equipment, and tools. The thickness, width, and length of these plates are typically available in a wide range of sizes, and the plates can be customized to meet the specific requirements of the project.
One of the main benefits of stainless steel 415 plates is that they have a high level of corrosion resistance, which makes them perfect for use in harsh environments where moisture or chemicals may be present. In addition to their high temperature resistance, they are also known for the fact that they are suitable for applications that require high temperatures.
It is very important to consider factors such as thickness, width, length, and surface finish, as well as any specific requirements related to the intended use of the material, when choosing Stainless Steel 415 Plates. As well as that, it is important for you to work with a reputable supplier who can provide you with high-quality plates that meet the standards and regulations of the industry.
In order to manufacture Stainless Steel 415 Plates, high-quality materials are used. In addition to their durability, sturdiness, and hardness, these Plates are well known for their durability and strength. There is no doubt that we are one of the leading manufacturers and suppliers of Stainless Steel 415 Plate in India due to our high precision machining and defect-free delivery service.

SS 415 sheet and SS 415 plate weight calculations require conversion of certain measurements (fractions) to decimal inches. For an accurate calculation, it is also important to account for the rolling tolerance, which affects the thickness, and the cutting tolerance, which affects the width and length. Stainless Steel 415 Plates types
- Hot Rolled Stainless Steel 415 Plates:
It is possible to manufacture these plates by heating the steel above its recrystallization temperature and then rolling the steel to the desired thickness once it has been heated. It is often the case that hot-rolled plates are used in applications that require a high level of strength and toughness. - Cold Rolled Stainless Steel 415 Plates:
This type of plate is manufactured by rolling the steel at room temperature, which results in a smoother, more polished finish as the steel is rolled at room temperature. A cold rolled plate is often used in applications requiring a high degree of surface finish and dimensional accuracy, where a high level of surface finish and accuracy is required. - Annealed Stainless Steel 415 Plates:
A heat treatment is applied to the plates in order to remove any stresses and to improve the ductility and toughness of the material. There are a number of applications where annealed plates are used in applications that require bending and forming. - Quenched and Tempered Stainless Steel 415 Plates:
It is important to note that these plates are heat-treated to improve their strength and hardness. In order to improve the toughness and reduce brittleness of the steel, it is heated to a high temperature, then quenched in water or oil, and finally tempered at a lower temperature in order to reduce the brittleness and improve toughness. - Polished Stainless Steel 415 Plates:
In order to achieve a smooth, reflective surface finish, these plates are polished to a high degree. Plates that have been polished are often used in decorative and architectural applications.
