317L Round Bar
304 and 304L Round Bar

Grade 321 Is An Austenitic Chromium Nickel Alloyed Stainless Steel. Although It Is Similar To Grade 304 Stainless Steel, The Main Difference Between These Two Grades Is That 321 stainless steel bar stock Contains Titanium. Titanium Is Highly Recommended For Those Parts Fabricated For Instance The 321 Stainless Steel equivalent Flat Bar Which Is Fabricated By Welding And It Cannot Subsequently Be Annealed.

The addition of titanium in the alloy of the 321 stainless steel properties, the rod not only reduces but also prevents the formation of carbide precipitation that can happen during welding at a temperature range of 800 °F – 1500 °F . Titanium also improves the elevated temperature properties of the alloy.

Like grade 304, the ss 321 bar is a stabilized stainless steel grade. 321 stainless steel wire, welding rod offers excellent resistance to oxidation and corrosion. The stainless steel 321 cold drawn bar also possesses good creep and high tensile strength. UNS S32100 Forged Bar is tends to resist the formation of scales and maintains phase stability when exposed to aqueous medium. The alloy also is resistance to subsequent aqueous corrosion.

Due to these improved mechanical as well as high corrosion resistance properties, the 321 ss round bar is often visible in applications in many equipment’s like exhaust stacks, Aircraft collector rings, carburetor air intensifier tubes, tubing, fasteners,  flexible couplings, jet engine parts, exhaust manifolds, mufflers, pressure vessels, flexible metal hose and bellows.

321 Round Bar Suppliers often recommend this alloy to be use in applications where the temperatures can rise up to 900 °C, without the loss of strength.Grade 321H, a modification of the 321 stainless plate, steel contains a higher carbon content. Hence, the 321 spring steel bar suppliers recommend this grade to buyers who require their equipment’s to withstand high temperature, without the mechanical properties getting affected.

A limitation of the Stainless Steel 321 Hollow Bar is that titanium does not transfer well across a high temperature arc. Therefore, the AISI 321 Square Bar  is not recommended as a welding consumable. In cases like these grade 347 is preferred, where the added niobium performs a similar carbide stabilisation task, but the metal can be transferred across a welding arc.

Like other austenitic grades, 321 stainless steel round bar, Stainless Steel 321 Threaded Bar has excellent forming and welding characteristics. The Ss 321 Square Bar is readily roll formed and have outstanding welding characteristics. Post weld annealing treatment is not required for this alloy. Another feature of the Ss 321 Hex Bar  is its excellent toughness, even in cryogenic temperature environments. As, the SS 321H Rod Supplier note, this particular grade of stainless steel does not polish well, which is why it is not recommended to be used for decorative applications.

Tronixalloy.com is a prominent manufacturer, supplier and exporter of high quality Stainless Steel 321 Round Bar. The round bars are alloyed for high strength. With the addition of specific elements, these bars offer maximum yield strength. A great deal of impact strength, high strength, and toughness are offered by these bars. In slightly stress-relieving conditions, these bars are used. Quenched and tempered stainless steel bars are available. High welding and bending properties are provided by these materials. Round bars are also known for their strength, durability, sturdy finish, and structural stability.

Our bars are manufactured from tested and qualified materials that provide a durable structure, a flawless design, and superior strength. These bars are available in a variety of standards, designations, specifications, as well as custom dimensions. In high-pressure and critical applications, these bars are ideal.

For industrial critical applications, we also manufacture these bars in non-standard and altered dimensions. In addition, the bars are highly resistant to general and local corrosion. SS bars are also suitable for environments containing high levels of chlorides and halides. Additionally, it performs well in pitting and crevice corrosive environments. Due to their high thermal stability, these bars perform well at high temperatures without deflection. In atmospheric corrosive environments, it also performs well.

As a result of its excellent mechanical and corrosion resistance properties, 321 ss round bars are often used in exhaust stacks, aircraft collector rings, carburetor air intensifier tubes, tubing, fasteners, flexible couplings, jet engine parts, exhaust manifolds, mufflers, pressure vessels, flexible metal hoses and bellows.

Stainless steel 321 Round Bar Suppliers recommend using this alloy when temperatures rise to 900 °C without losing strength. Grade 321H contains a higher carbon content than grade 321 stainless steel. Therefore, 321 spring steel bar suppliers recommend this grade to buyers who need their equipment to withstand high temperatures without compromising its mechanical properties.
